About me.
Hey, I'm Pei Liang. Welcome to my portfolio!
I was born and raised in a design family -- my parents and my grandfather are Architect/Interior Designers. For as long as I can remember, I’ve always had a passion to create. My childhood was grounded in visual design, and the support of my amazing family and my best fine arts teacher.
In the past 10 years, I turned my career path from the Fashion industry to the Digital product industry. I had worked @Uniqlo and @Cache Cache as a fashion designer for around 2 years perspectively. In 2017, I came to the US for my graduate education. I completed a master's degree in Information Experience Design at @Pratt Institute. During my graduate study, I held internships @Huge and @Mckinsey & Company.
Since my graduation, I've been working at @McKinsey & Company as a Senior Product Designer for about 2 years now.
I’m constantly working on expanding and strengthening my skill set. Solving problems through a creative approach and find meaningful interactions for a better user experience always excites me.
I'm also a rock climber, a skier, an illustrator, a 3D artist, a life lover!

"Pei is incredibly proactive, curious and creative! I had the pleasure of working with her for a couple months and in that time she eagerly wanted to learn and understand everything she could, and help out with anything that crossed her path. Pei would regularly request feedback so that she could continually improve and she gratefully listened to feedback with a yearning to learn and grow her skills in UX, design, animation, prototyping... everything!"

"Pei is a proactive, responsible team member with a great attitude. During her internship at Huge, Pei aided our team in the ideation process by generating wireframe and prototype explorations, as well as completing competitive research. She responded very well to direction and feedback, and was a pleasure to work with."

"I had the pleasure of working with Pei during her internship at Huge. I was impressed by Pei’s ability to ask the right kinds of questions, immerse herself in the subject matter, and make her voice heard during team meetings. I’m sure Pei will be a valuable asset to the next design team she joins."
